Honorary and Memorial Gifts
A gift to LBWDC is a wonderful way to honor a friend's birthday, holiday, the birth of a child, or a new marriage. It can also be a meaningful way to mark the passing of a friend or family member.
When a memorial or honoraium gift is made, you will also receive a letter of thanks, and we will notify the honoree of your gift or the family of the deceased.
Name a footprint — Honor a special person, group, or event by making a gift of $250. The footprint represents the first steps a child takes toward their future. The footprints are engraved with a name or message of your choice and hung in the atrium of the center.

Memorial Gifts — Pay a lasting tribute to family, friends, and supporters who are no longer with us.

Does your employer have a matching gifts program? Some corporations will match the contributions made by theri employees and some will pay employees to volunteer, Check with your HR department to find out.

Your annual gift of $2500 or more to LBWDC will help us change the lives of even more infants by providing much needed resources and expanding our current outreach. Your generosity will delight our kids, their families and their entire communities.

$5000 - You will sponsor a child for an entiire year. We will share this child’s story with you and show you how your generosity impacted that child’s life plus rewards metioned above.

Since 1992, the Low Birth Weight Development Center has been helped more than 3000 low birth weight infants and their families. No other agency has developed more innovative and internationally recognized programs to teach families the skills necessary to build a better future than us.
Annual Giving is an integral part of how we are able to serve our families. We desperately need your help! Just imagine if you:
Lived 300% below poverty level - $600/month for a family of four
Had no health insurance and a fragile low birth weight infant needing specialized care
Had no transportation to take your child to the doctor and or emergency room
Came home to find your electricity had been turned off and your fragile infant requires daily breathing treatments in order to survive
If you can imagine this – then you can imagine how the families we help live everyday. We need you to help us make a difference in the lives of these infants and their families. The Low Birth Weight Development Center counts on you, our angel and our friend to guide us, lead us and most importantly – support us. It is important for the community to know that you stand behind our mission and are willing to give us the support needed to help the families we serve.
It is important to know that your gifts bring immediate relief and comfort, as well as, generational change to those we serve.
